Bay Shore Teen Angie Reyes, Age 14, Reported Missing
Police are asking for help in locating a missing teenager from Long Island. Angie Reyes, age 14, of Bay Shore, was last seen on Stein Drive at around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday, May 15. Suffolk County Police said the teen is believed to be suicidal and may be in need of medical attention. Reyes is Hispanic, 4-feet-11 and 115 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes. Trio Steals $9K In Bags From Huntington Saks Fifth Avenue
Police are asking for help in identifying three women accused of stealing designer handbags from a Saks Fifth Avenue store on Long Island. The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, at the Saks store at Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station. Suffolk County Police said three women stole four handbags totaling $9,439. A cash reward for information leading to an arrest is being offered by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers. Brian Perales, age 22 of Brooklyn, was arrested on Monday, May 13 in connection to the Manhasset crime, which Nassau County Police said occurred in February. An alleged check fraudster managed to slip away from police custody after being busted at a Long Island Walmart store. Suffolk County Police were called to the Riverhead Walmart, located on Old Country Road, at around 9 p.m. Friday, May 10 for a man who was reportedly trying to cash a US Department of Treasury check with a fraudulent passport ID card. A 22-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash on a busy Long Island roadway. The incident happened around 4:15 p.m. Monday, May 13 in Commack. Police announced that three people were arrested after they were allegedly seen fleeing from the scene of a shooting. It happened on Sunday, May 12 in Freeport, according to Nassau County Police.
