NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- New Rochelle native Ray Rice is expected to appeal his indefinite suspension from the NFL after video footage was released of him knocking his now-wife unconscious in an Atlantic City casino, according to ESPN.com.
Rice was originally given a two-game suspension by the league in July. When the second video was released, the Baltimore Ravens terminated Rice's contract and the league suspended him indefinitely, ESPN.com reported.
Rice has until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday to file his appeal, ESPN.com said.
