barnket is absolutely right. I wrote that Ms. Brody's filling the gap was the cause of the Valhalla accident. Of interest is that unrelated traffic accidents caused unusual congestion in both cases.
Is anyone surprised by this? Schwartz has been robbing the taxpayers from day one. When he left the County (after Andy Spano lost re-election) he collected nearly $100,000 in "unused" sick and vacation time claiming that his job was so important he couldn't take time off. Really? Even the President takes vacations! Didn't the County have policies regarding payment for such leave time? I'm sure they do for every other public employee except for Mr. Schwartz. This guy must have the goods on a lot of people which is why they are keeping him around or keeping him on the payroll. They are all dirty across the board and across the aisles. Public Corruption is bi-partisan so let's not banter about who's a dem and who's a rep - they are all the same when it comes to corruption. Hopefully Abinanti will be true to his word that he wants to weed out corruption. I for one have sent correspondence to the Westchester DA (anonymously due to fear of retribution) on the subject of Paul Feiner in Greenburgh who consistently tried to sway local advisory boards to approve his pet projects and also asked for an investigation into the Town Board and how they are able to give themselves benefits that are normally restricted to full-time employees when in fact they theymselves are part-time employees and the only part-time employees collecting those benefits (e.g. - health insurance buy-outs exceeding $10,000 per year!). In the meantime, Cuomo should clean house and get rid of this guy.
Chill! They are trying to get things done one at a time! Try suggesting it by an Email
