Last month, four prominent senior varsity athletes gathered for a ceremonial Letter of Intent signing in the Bronxville High School library, where they made it official where they will play post-graduation.

Connor Daly, the high school’s golf team captain, will play at Villanova University next fall, while two-sport athlete Andrew Harwood will continue playing lacrosse as a member of Colorado College.

Football team captain Jack Gelinas will swap the pigskin for a stick, committing to be a member of the Buckness University lacrosse team and Lilly Grass, captain of both the field hockey and lacrosse teams will take her talents to the University of Michigan, where she will play Division-I lacrosse.

Bronxville High School Athletic Director Karen Peterson praised the student-athletes for the commitment and dedication they’ve shown on and off the field, commenting that each of them has brought pride to the community for their accomplishments.

“All four student-athletes have represented Bronxville at state championship events, so they know what it takes to win,” she said. “They have dedicated hours of training to reach their goal of playing at the collegiate level, and we are excited to watch them as they take that next step.”
