The golfer, Ed Meyers won his choice of a new luxury car from the Pepe Auto Group.

The outing raised $125,000 to help fund the hospital’s surgery and oncology pavilion.

Prior to tee off on the sponsored ninth hole, Meyers reportedly acknowledged the Pepe Auto Group signage promoting the chance to win a car and told his teammates," Wouldn't that be something?"

Meyers used his 6 iron to hit the ball. When the ball landed on the edge of the green he reportedly sighed in relief and watched it continue to roll out of sight. The two spotters watching the green suddenly came to life and people started coming out of the clubhouse. Meyers reportedly thought he was inches away but once the other three players in his foursome teed off a spotter went out onto the green, looked in the cup and raised his arms as if to signal a field goal.

Meyers and his wife took delivery on Nov. 16 of their new 2016 Porsche Cayenne from Porsche of Larchmont.
