EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Eastchester girls soccer team advanced to the Section 1 Class A final with a 2-0 win over Rye on Thursday, Oct. 31, according to LoHud.com.
Eagles forward Dava Fortunato continued her torrid playoff pace by netting her fifth goal of the post season, LoHud.com reported.
With the win, the sixth-seeded Eagles advance to play top-seed Byram Hills, which beat Tappan Zee, 3-1. The game will be held at Arlington High School in Dutchess County on Saturday at 4 p.m.
