The game was an elimination game for both teams and the Clippers were edged 3-2 to end their season.

The game began with the Cougars getting on the scoreboard first with three runs in their first at-bats. Caldwell would record two singles to get runners on base and then a home run from Marisa Monasseri gave the Cougars the 3-0 advantage after the first inning.

Concordia would respond in the top of the second inning as the Clippers would begin the inning with two on and one out. Senior Alexa Lavalle would then record a single to center field as senior Victoria Vickerman scored as Lavalle earned the RBI. On the play the center fielder for Caldwell was charged with a throwing error and allowed senior Kayla Luken to score, cutting the deficit to one run at 3-2.

For the remainder of the game Concordia was limited to only two more hits. Concordia was unable to knot the score in the closing innings as Caldwell held on for the 3-2 victory as the Clippers were eliminated from the CACC Championship Tournament.

Senior Hannah Rubasky was tagged with the loss for Concordia as she allowed three earned runs on seven hits while striking out two batters. The Clippers (19-17) have now completed their season. Check back at this link for any post season awards.
