Laoutaris, who enters her 22nd season at the helm of the squad, has 12 home games in her 34-game schedule. The Clippers will open the season in Florida for a week-long visit in the Sunshine State beginning on Monday, March 7. Concordia will play eight games in Clermont with the opponents yet to be announced.
The first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader for the Clippers will be on Tuesday, March 15 at Bloomfield College while Concordia’s home opener will take place on Saturday, March 19 against Chestnut Hill College. First pitch of the doubleheader at Clipper Softball Field in Bronxville is set for 1 p.m.
During the season, Concordia will also host Felician, USciences, Post, Georgian Court and Holy Family. All of those match-ups are CACC doubleheaders.
Senior Day will be Saturday, April 23, as the Clippers host Holy Family at 1 p.m. The 2016 CACC Championship Tournament is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 28 as the top eight teams in the league will qualify for the post-season tournament.
The championship tournament will be hosted by Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey.
