BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Bronxville School District will open at 10 a.m. Monday, as some residents and teachers continue to struggle with power outages and travel difficulties, the district announced on its website. The district expects to return to a regular schedule on Tuesday.
The Bronxville school first reopened after Hurricane Sandy on Friday, and student attendance was between 80 and 90 percent, while 12 teachers were absent due to the strom, Superintendent David Quattrone said in a newsletter.
