Bronxville School Board of Education Awards Tenure to Three Educators

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Bronxville Board of Education awarded tenure to three members of its faculty, at the recommendation of Superintendent of Schools David Quattrone, during the board's April 19 meeting.

Bronxville High School Principal Ann Meyer, math teacher Jennifer Oliveri (Bronxville Middle School) and first-grade teacher Kathryn Westerheim (Bronxville Elementary School) received unanimous approval from the board. Their tenure is effective Sept. 1, 2016.

“These three educators have met the standards of a rigorous evaluation process that calls for direct observations, conferences, professional development and a review of student learning results,” Quattrone said. “Their work exemplifies our key dispositions of leadership, innovation, critical thinking and engaged citizenship. They have brought energy and dedication to their work and shown the promise of continued distinction.”
