Westchester Man Receives Summons For Failing To Register Dog After Bite

A 31-year-old Northern Westchester man was served a criminal summons for failing to register his dog after it allegedly bit a person.

William Henriquez, of Yorktown, was cited on Saturday, Oct. 31, after Yorktown Police responded to a home on Arbour Lane in Yorktown Heights for a report of a dog bite, police said.

According to police, on Thursday, May 28, police responded to the home for a report of an alleged dog bite. Following an investigation, officers found that Henriquez did not have a license for the dog in question.

As a result, a criminal summons was applied for.

Henriquez was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Nov. 19.
