Mount Kisco Man Charged with DWI by Putnam Police

CARMEL, N.Y.— A 30-year-old Mount Kisco man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated by Putnam County Police who said they pulled him over last week.

The Putnam County Sherriff's Department charged Bernardino Santino-Ramirez April 16 after they said they stopped him for a traffic violation on Route 6 in the Town of Southeast.

Police said when they pulled him over, the determined Santino-Ramirez was intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to the Putnam County Correctional Facility, where his blood alcohol content was measured, police said.

Santino-Ramirez  was charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned at Southeast Justice Court and held at the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 bail until his next Southeast court appearance, police said.

According to police, if found guilty of the charge, Santino-Ramirez could face up to a year in jail and fines up to $1,000.
