A Bronxville police officer spotted a 19-year-old throw a bag under a parked car and flee through the backyard of a Parkway Road residence, on Wednesday, July 5.
After a brief chase, the officer was able to track down the teen, whose name has not been disclosed. The subsequent investigation into the incident revealed that the bag was filled with unopened beer cans.
Police said that after interviewing the teenager, he was brought to his parents, who were notified of the incident. No further police action was taken.
