BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Louis V. Vallach of Bronxville died Tuesday, April 5.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He then went on to have a long career with the New York City Transit Authority.
He was the husband of Jeanne; father of Glenn (Constance) and the late Gregory (Karen); grandfather of Glenn (Renata), Tara, Scott (Jennifer), Gregory (Megan), Elyse and Kelsey; great-grandfather of two; and brother of Helen and Mary.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 7, from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, April 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, 20 Cedar St., Bronxville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 9. at 9:45 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Bronxville.
