Schools Reopen: Students return back to school from Spring Break.

Tuesday, April 17

Eastchester Town Board: 8 p.m. The Eastchester Town Board will hold its regular meeting. Agenda posted online. Eastchester Town Hall, 40 Mill Road, Eastchester, N.Y.

Wednesday, April 18

Spring Learning at WRT: 7:30 p.m. Rabbi Jan Katzew, Ph.D., and Rabbi Aaron Panken, Ph.D., will be guest speakers at Westchester Reform Temple (WRT) on six Wednesdays this spring, April 18 and 25, May 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 7:30 p.m., in a program "From Redemption to Revelation: An Exploration of the Journey from Pesach to Shavuot." The series will examine how Jewish tradition defines the period between Passover and Shavuot. During this seven-week period, Jews enumerate the time from the celebration of redemption to the moment of revelation at Mount Sinai, and remember the challenging journey their ancestors faced as they walked through the desert to reach their sacred encounter with God. Texts for the series will be available in Hebrew and English, and the public is welcome to attend any one or all sessions. Westchester Reform Temple, 255 Mamaroneck Road, Scarsdale, N.Y.
