Bronxville Could See Significant Snowfall, Ice From Coastal Storm

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A coastal storm could bring heavy snow and ice to Westchester County over the weekend, but since forecasters are still unsure about the path of the storm, the exact impact is still up in the air.

Friday will remain mostly clear with temperatures in the high 30s.

The uncertainty begins on Saturday when the costal low moves through the area. Snow is likely for most of the day, especially before 3 p.m.

Current models are forecasting .1 inches of ice possible and 3-5 inches of snow.

The chance of precipitation is 70 percent, but any changes in the path of the storm could drastically alter accumulation totals.

The storm is expected to move out of the area on Saturday night, leaving a partly sunny Sunday with a high of 34 degrees.
