Bronxville Roads Get More Than $110,000 In State Aid

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Bronxville will receive more than $110,000 to help improve and maintain its local roads.

The money, part of the state's Consolidated Highway Improvements Funds (CHIPS), will be an increase over what the city received last year.

Bronxville will get $110,316.26. That's an increase of $23,253.44 or 26.71 percent from last year, said state Sen. George Latimer (D-Rye).

The Village of Mamaroneck will receive $237,701.10, which is $49,353.15 more than last year. Port Chester will get $215,021.43, an increase from last year of $45,267.11.

Rye Brook is receiving  $73,781.95, or $11,741.63 more than last year.
