Ribbon Cutting Welcomes Eastchester French Restaurant

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Town of Eastchester and the Tuckahoe/Eastchester Chamber of Commerce were part of a recent ribbon cutting for the Bistro Parisien, 434 White Plains Road, Eastchester.

The restaurant is owned by Stephane and Maria Kane. Stephane Kane attended culinary school for three years, learning all aspects of the restaurant business from cooking to service and management. Gaining experience around the world, he worked in France, Belgium, Germany, as well as the Caribbean.

In New York, he has worked for some of the most renowned chefs, like Daniel Boulud (Daniel), Alain Ducasse ( The Essex House, Mix), Phillippe Bertinaux (Payard) and Mario Batali ( Del Posto).

In 2002, the couple met in New York City and were married a few years later. In February 2011, they realized their dream of owning a business.
