Celebrate National Pet Month In Bronxville

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Around the country, animal lovers have been celebrating National Pet Month for nearly three weeks. In Bronxville, the Chamber of Commerce has organized a series of special events for pet owners.

All Bronxville pets will be honored during National Pet Month.

With the use of an online coupon, owners can earn 50 percent off their first exam at Animal Health Care, PC on Tuckahoe Avenue in Eastchester.

Paws and Play Pet Resort and Training Center - which earned the distinction of being named a Best of Westchester award winner last year – has more than 4,000-square-feet for dogs to play in both inside and outside.

MyHometownBronxville.com continues to produce weekly profiles on local animals seeking a loving home.

To cap off National Pet Month, the Bronxville School PTA is organizing a dog parade as part of the annual Memorial Day Weekend celebration for all canines. The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. on May 25. There will be a $10 registration fee to have dogs judged. All proceeds will be used to benefit the PTA.
