The announcement came on Monday afternoon from the CACC and is reflected for games played between March 7 and March 13. Gardus hit .526 last week to lead the Clippers offense in a 4-3 week in Florida as Concordia earned wins over Lake Superior St., Saint Rose, West Liberty, and Nyack.

Gardus had 10 hits and drove in five runs while accounting for seven runs herself. On the base paths, she recorded two stolen bases as her speed allowed for two triples and a double. Gardus began the week and her collegiate career with three RBI’s against Lake Superior State which included two RBI’s with two outs in the top of the seventh to give the Clippers the 4-3 come-from-behind victory.

Gardus and the entire softball team will be back in action on Tuesday afternoon with a CACC doubleheader at Bloomfield College. First pitch of game one is set for 3 p.m. at Clark's Pond South in Bloomfield, N.J. as fans unable to attend can follow the action by accessing the live stats link under the softball schedule page on its website.
