BRONXVILLE, N.Y. --  The following is a letter from Karen L. Peterson, Athletic Department Director; Ann Meyer, High School Principal; and Thomas Wilson, Middle School Principal to parents in the Bronxville School District.

Dear parents:

The Winter Sports Awards Program will take place on Wednesday, March 9, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

At this time, we will be honoring all the Bronxville High School athletes on our Varsity winter teams.

We hope that all parents and winter varsity athletes will join us in the newly renovated auditorium as we acknowledge the special accomplishments of our varsity teams.

All fall athletes from the senior class will be recognized during the course of the evening.

All of our students have put in countless hours in practices and contests and we request that athletes and parents plan to stay for the entire ceremony as we celebrate every team’s accomplishments.

Immediately following, some teams will break into individual team sports meetings as designated on the Schedule of Events sheet located in the evening’s program.

To help set the proper atmosphere for this event, we request that all male students wear jackets and ties and female students dress appropriately.

The hard work and dedication of our athletes and our coaching staff determines the success of our programs.

We hope you can join us as we honor our teams who have brought so much excitement to our community this winter.
