BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – As part of the district-wide technological overhaul that Bronxville school officials have been implementing for several years, a Facebook page has been opened representing the students and district.
With the academic year just days away, the Bronxville Union Free School District has reserved its spot on Facebook, with a page outlining some of the projects and programs they hope to promote throughout the school year.
In a joint statement, school officials said that they are constantly searching for new ways to reach the community in the technological age. The page will be for “informational purposes only,” and any comments will be removed.
“As a school district, we are always looking for new ways to communicate effectively in order to develop and deepen our relationships with our students, parents, staff and community. We strive to inform, listen to and engage the community we serve in order to celebrate, support and share the ‘Bronxville Promise.’”
