Tuesday, Oct. 2

Flu Clinic: 1 to 3 p.m. The Somers Nutrition Center will host a flu clinic at the Van Tassell House, Route 139, Somers. Remember to bring your insurance or Medicare card. To schedule an appointment, call 914-232-0807.

First Grade Book Club: 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. The club will meet every Tuesday through Oct. 16. Children read a story, have a snack and do a craft or game. It’s at the Somers Library, 82 Primrose St. (in Reis Park), Somers.

Second Grade Book Club: 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. The club meets every Tuesday to read a book, have a snack and do a craft or game. New members are always welcome. It’s at the Somers Library, 82 Primrose St. (in Reis Park), Somers.

Wednesday, Oct. 3

Meeting of the Somers Energy and Environment Committee: 7 p.m. The committee will meet at the Van Tassell Park Recreation Center, Route 139, Somers.

Thursday, Oct. 4

Somers Town Board Work Session: 7:30 p.m. The board will meet at the Somers Town House, 335 Route 202, Somers.
