BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Using surveillance video, police in Bronxville spotted a pair of suspects that reportedly attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill at Starbucks.
Police were dispatched to the local Starbucks shortly after noon on Thursday, June 29, following reports of a suspect in possession of the counterfeit bill.
Upon arrival, officers reported that the suspect had left the area, but while reviewing village surveillance video during the subsequent investigation, police were able to identify a vehicle, license plate number and two suspects who were traveling in it.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, though police have said that there are charges likely to be levied against the two suspects, whose names have not been released.
