BRONXVILLE, N.Y. — Anthony William Hunter, of Bronxville, died on Tuesday, Sept. 29. He was 97.
Hunter was born on March 5, 1918 to William and Antoinette Cacciatore in Yonkers, owning Parkway Liquors in Bronxville from 1945 to 2008.
He was predeceased by his parents, wife Muffy, brother William and grandson Bruce.
Hunter is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Toni and Joe Gamils, son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Brenda Hunter, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1 at Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, located at 20 Cedar Street in Bronxville.
A mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, located at 23 South High Street in Mount Vernon.
Interment will be at the Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
