Former Bronxville Resident, Colville Dies at 92

Anita Colville, of Spanish Fort, AL, died Sep. 29. She was 92. A native of New York, Colville was the former president of the Bronxville Senior Citizens.

Colville graduated from The College William & Mary with a bachelor's degree in 1940. She also received a master's degree in social work in 1942 from Columbia University. Colville then went on to work for the Children's Aid Society. 

She is survived by her sister-in-law Margaret M. Colville of Daphne, AL, her nephews Glen Randall Colville of McIntosh, AL and W. Robert Colville with wife Cindy of Spanish Fort and her great-nephews Robert Colville, Jr., of Auburn, AL and Samuel Colville of Spanish Fort. 

A graveside service will take place at 10:30 A.M. on Friday at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McIntosh United Methodist Church, 1250 Military Road, Mt. Vernon, AL 36560 or the Children's Aid Society, 105 East 22nd Street, room 504, New York, NY 10010-5413.
