“As seniors, we have certain responsibilities to keep the school community very close, interact with everyone and have a good year,” said Jessica Kelly, who dressed up as Princess Fiona and played hangman with second-graders.

Dressed as characters from comic books, video games and "Orange Is the New Black," the seniors visited each Bronxville Elementary School class to read books, distribute candy and lead Halloween-themed activities and games.

The seniors also put on a parade during a schoolwide assembly.

“It’s our last chance to be kids before we go to college and grow up,” said senior Yusrah Seddiki, who emceed the parade with Andrew Harwood. “We’re a class full of spirit and good vibes. It’s a tradition we like to continue and look forward to every year.”

Teachers awarded prizes for costume categories such as scariest, funniest, best, male, female, group, handmade, handmade group and most socially relevant.
