The whole thing reeked of a cheap sensationalistic ploy by a failing newspaper to cash in on a terrible tragedy under the guise of 'responsible reporting'. There's nothing responsible about ostracizing legal pistol permit holders (which has nothing to do with what happened in Newtown) for the sake of making headlines, it only fosters a more hostile environment. The responsible approach is to pass legislation like they did in Albany. View Comment
