BRONXVILLE, N.Y. The Concordia men's basketball team fell to visiting Post College (Connecticut) 77-60 Tuesday in a Central Atlantic Athletic Collegiate Conference Game.
The teams combined for a quick 17 points in the first two minutes of the game before Post opened a six-point lead after six minutes.
Concordia stayed within striking distance for much of the period and only trailed by four after a three-point basket by Kyle Kube with 5:44 remaining. The Eagles responded with an 18-8 run in the closing minutes to go into the locker room with a 46-32 lead.
Argelix Gil led the Clippers with a team-high 16 points and 12 rebounds and added three assists and a steal. Norman Pope finished with 12 points for the Clippers.
Concordia (8-10, 5-5 CACC) will take on USciences Saturday at 3 p.m. following the women's game in the Meyer Athletic Center.
