Earlier this year, DiCostanzo made a verbal commitment to the Jaspers and coach Elizabeth Weber, by signing her National Letter of Intent inside the Eastchester High School gym on Friday, she will officially don the forest green and white of Manhattan College after she graduates next year.

The 17-year-old attack, who has proven to be a force both with the ball and on draws for the Eagles, got her start with the stick as a precocious youngster in the third grade. In her star crossed Eastchester career, the third year captain has already amassed more than 200 points with her senior season still to go.

In addition to starring for Eastchester, DiCostanzo has also showcased her talents alongside some of New York’s finest as a member of the House of Sports Elite club lacrosse team.

DiCostanzo has been wowing fans of the Eagles since she was promoted to the starting varsity lineup in eighth grade. As a sophomore and junior, she received New York State Section I and All-League honors. She was also named the team’s most valuable player last season after totaling 65 goals and nabbing her 200th career point.

"I chose Manhattan College for quite a few reasons," DiCostanzo said when announcing her commitment. " I really liked the campus and its proximity to New York City as well as to home, this way my family can come to see the Jaspers play."
