BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Men’s soccer player Ekene Okereke of Concordia College in Bronxville has been named Player of the Week by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
The native of Beliefield, Germany, earned the honor for the week of Aug. 27 to Sept. 3 with two goals in the Clippers’ 3-2 victory in their season opening game against St. Anselm. Okereke then scored Concordia’s only goal the following morning in the Clippers’ 2-1 loss to Stonehill.
The Clippers take the field Wednesday at 5 p.m. at CACC opponent Felician in Rutherford, N.J.
