BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College men’s basketball team returned to campus early again this year to host its third annual summer basketball camp for local youngsters at the Meyer Athletic Center last week.

The four-day camp was attended by approximately 60 children from the local area, an increase from last year’s enrollment.

Coach Brian Sondey had the help of players Mohamed Abass (Brooklyn), Dominique Spann (West Babylon), Kyle Kube (West Babylon), Norman Pope (Washington, D.C.) and Tshyrad Oates (Union City, N.J.), who worked teaching skills and monitoring games over the four-day camp.

Assistant coach Geoff Rose provided support,as did two friends of the program, Zach Kulman and Dan Prior.

The Clippers basketball team will hold its third annual Friday Night Clinics this fall. For more information, contact Coach Sondey at Brian.Sondey@Concordia-ny.edu.
