Concordia Men Net Sixth Tennis Shutout

The seventh-ranked Concordia College Clippers men's tennis team got back to its  Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule on Tuesday following a trip to Florida, rolling over host the Caldwell Cougars 9-0 for its sixth match shutout win of the season.

In doubles competition, Concordia's Ricardo Frey (Curitiba, Brazil) and Geza Bazula (Budapest, Hungary) won 8-0 at No. 1 doubles as did the duo of Mark Mozer (Brest, Belarus) and Dane Ostilly (Westport, Conn.) at No. 3 doubles. Tomasz Olfans (Opole, Poland) and Jason Quintana (Holtsville, N.Y.) held their ground at No. 2 doubles with an 8-1 victory as the Clippers took a 3-0 overall lead.

David Tisserand (Lyon, Franc), Ostilly, Bazula, Mozer, Frey and Quintana each won his singles match easily as the Clippers remained perfect in league play.

Concordia (11-6, 5-0 CACC) will be back in action Saturday for a CACC match when it hosts Philadelphia University at the Meyers Tennis Center at noon.
