"One of our goals as a program is to help our student-athletes grow as people, and service opportunities like this are a great foundation for that," said head coach Brian Sondey. "I was really excited about how enthusiastic Cedrick and Stephen were to share their experiences with the 4th graders at the Charter School."

Sondey discussed how he became a coach with around 100 fourth-graders. He was assisted by sophomore Cedrick McFadden and freshman Stephen Milhaven of the men's basketball program.

The students asked questions about their upbringing and how to become a collegiate student-athlete. They also viewed highlights of the Clippers' previous season.

The Clippers will host their seventh annual summer camp beginning in August.
