The Clippers extended their lead to 16 after a jump shot by junior Brandon Whitaker (Harlem, N.Y.) with 14:18 remaining in the second half, but the host Golden Falcons went on a 13-2 run in the next 4:34 to cut their deficit to only five points with just less than 10 minutes to play.
