BRONXVILLE, N.Y. The Concordia College Clippers of Bronxville mens basketball team opened an early two-point lead Saturday and cruised to an 82-69 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division victory over Holy Family.
The Clippers, who evened their CACC record at 8-8 and 11-13 overall, next visit Goldey-Beacom College Saturday at 3 p.m. game.
Concordia open the game with a 7-0 run and led 19-6 lead following a three-point basket by Dominique Spann.
Brandon Whitaker led the Clippers with a game-high 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field. Whitaker knocked down four three-point baskets and also added seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in 34 minutes of action. Argelix Gil added 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds while Spann also added 13 points.
