BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Bronxville's Concordia College is home to three athletes recognized last week by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The CACC named freshman Stephen Milhaven its Rookie of the Year in men's basketball, and two of his teammates were recognized as well.
At the time of the nomination period, Milhaven had been CACC's Rookie of the Week four times and on its Weekly Honor Roll once. Milhaven helped Concordia to its first CACC Championship Tournament appearance since 2012, ranking sixth in the league in total rebounds (208), seventh in defensive rebounds (148), eighth in field-goal percentage (47.6), ninth in rebounds per game (7.4), 10th in points per 40 minutes (20.4), first in offensive rebounds (60), 12th in free-throw percentage (76.8), 16th in field goals made (127), 18th in total points (350) and 25th in points per game (12.5).
Milhaven was also one of nine players in CACC to rank in the top 20 in both total rebounds and total points.
Teammate senior Peter Aguilar was named the the All-CACC Second Team, after being named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll twice this season. Aguilar ranked second in CACC in three-point percentage, third in points per 40 minutes, fourth in points and field goals made, fifth in points per game, seventh in three-point field goals, 12th in field goal percentage, 13th in free throws, 15th in free-throw percentage, and 22nd in offensive rebounds, as Aguilar led the Clippers in scoring.
Junior Jalen Heath was named to the All-CACC Third Team, after being named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll six times in the regular season. Heath ranks second in CACC in steals, third in defensive rebounds, fourth in assists and minutes, eighth in points and three-pointers, ninth in rebounds, 10th in field goals, 11th in rebounds per game, 14th in points per game, 17th in free throw percentage and 20th in blocks.
Heath was also one of nine players in CACC to rank in the top 20 in both total rebounds and total points.
