Cain, 17, announced last week that she will turn professional instead of competing at the collegiate level.
She finished 10th in the 1,500 meters this summer at the IAAF World Championships. Cain also set 10 indoor and seven outdoor U.S. junior and high school records in distances ranging from 800 to 5000 meters this year.
Cain will be coached by Alberto Salazar. Ricky Simms of PACE Sports Management will be her representative.
The article features an interview with Salazar and goes in depth into Cain's meteoric rise to the world stage in running.
