Bronxville Tops Pawling, Heads for Homecoming

PAWLING, N.Y. – Christian Conway had his third 200-plus yard rushing day of the season Saturday and the Bronxville Broncos remained unbeaten by defeating a tough Pawling team 41-28, setting up next Saturday’s homecoming and the upcoming playoffs.

“We think we have a team that can make a lot of noise in the playoffs,” Broncos lineman Sean Callahan said.  “The last couple weeks have been slow, but I think we'll pick it up. Next week for homecoming we play Pearl River, which is an undefeated Class A team, so it should be a great game. We're going to be working really hard all week to be ready for that game. It should be a lot of fun.”

The Broncos (6-0) extended their Section 1 winning streak to 24 games and their overall unbeaten string to 18 as Conway rolled for 230 yards and four touchdowns, while twin brother Jackson Conway added a season-high 88 yards and a score.

Max Boyd completed seven of eight passes for 165 yards and threw a touchdown pass to Luke Marrone, who caught four passes for 110 yards.
