BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Chapel School in Bronxville has started Smartboard lessons, working on new laptops purchased to bring more technology into the classroom.
Fourth-graders in teacher Elizabeth Flannery Gollenberg’s class will use the new technology for class projects and to practice a program aimed to improve their typing skills.
The lessons help students develop thinking skills. The students will also use the laptops to research projects for history and science class. They will be able to write creative stories and type them to be printed.
The Chapel School is at 172 White Plains Road in Bronxville.
