This is the first year the college is offering the bachelor’s degree program, designed to educate and train students in the art and science of diagnostic radiologic technology.
The students receiving pins have completed the requirements of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, which enables them to sit for their licensing exams. The students receiving white coats are celebrating their successful transition into the clinical phase of their studies.
Dr. Molinda Kearns, chair of the Health Studies program at Concordia, presided over the ceremony.
“We have been privileged to witness the journey of this group,” said Kearns, “They have become a part of the tapestry we weave here at Concordia and we are confident they will represent us and themselves well in the clinical world, as they have in our academic program.”
Applications are being accepted for Fall 2015. For more information on the Radiologic Technologies program, contact the Admission Office at 914-337-9300, extension 2155.
