The spread was provided and created by class families. The students were treated to all the classic holiday dishes, including mashed potatoes, stuffing and, of course, turkey. The students shared what they were thankful for and discussed their own family traditions. “I am thankful for my family and friends.” “I am thankful for this yummy food.” “I am thankful for my dog and sister.”

The Thanksgiving festivities didn’t end there. The students also created Thanksgiving-inspired crafts. Using an apple and some edible materials, they made treats they could bring home to their families. Smiles and giggles filled the room, when they all saw their completed masterpieces.

The Chapel School is at 172 White Plains Road. For more information about the Chapel School and its programs, call 914-337-3202 or visit the website at http://www.thechapelschool.org.
