BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Fourth-graders at The Chapel School in Bronxville celebrated Thanksgiving early with a class feast.
The students were treated to all the classic holiday dishes including mashed potatoes, stuffing and, of course, turkey. The feast was sponsored by the Sahagian Family and provided by the Bronxville Field Club. The students shared what they were thankful for and discussed their own family traditions, school officials said.
"The Thanksgiving festivities didn’t end there," officials said. "The fourth-graders also teamed up with their kindergarten buddies to create Thanksgiving-inspired crafts. Using an apple and some edible materials, the fourth-graders helped their little friends make treats they could bring home to their families. Smiles and giggles filled the room, when they all seen their completed masterpieces."
