The foundation was created in 1991 by a combination of the trustees of the Bronxville Board of Education, citizens of the community, and supporters of the school.
The current board of directors consists of 30 people, including one member of the Board of Education, the superintendent of schools, and the vice president of the PTA.
The Nominating Committee gets recommendations from within the board and anyone interested who contacts the foundation office.
Nominees are residents who would work with current board members to raise funds and support educational grants for the district.
