Bronxville Residents Vote Yes On $4.5M School Bond

BRONXVILLE N.Y. — Bronxville residents have voted yes to approve the $4.5 million bond that will now go toward the renovation of a school auditorium and science labs.

There were 687 votes cast in total on Tuesday, Oct. 2. Out of the total, 490 votes were for the proposition, 194 were against and three were marked as void. 

The district can now issue $4.5 million in bonds to partially fund the renovations. The proposal is a public-private partnership and $3 million has been raised by the community in fundraisers, while $2.5 million will come from district reserve funds.

No start or project completion dates have been announced.
