Education research website Niche compiled information based on standardized test scores, the quality of college graduates attend, AP Class enrollment, graduation rates and state proficiency exams, Business Insider said.
Bronxville was one of four Westchester schools to make the top 50. The school boasted a composite SAT score range of 1920-1970 and has approximately 98 percent of its graduates go on to four-year colleges, Business Insider said.
Horace Greeley, Rye and Scarsdale were the other three schools on the list, ranking 17th, 25th and 30th respectively.
The title of smartest public high school in the country went to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Annandale, Va.
