Bronxville Ranked Among State's Best Districts

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Bronxville Union Free School District was recently ranked the 10th-best district in New York State, according to education website Niche.

Niche compiled data on all public school districts and graded them in eight metrics:

  • Academics
  • Health and safety
  • Parent and student surveys
  • Student culture and diversity
  • Teachers
  • Resources and facilities
  • Extracurriculars
  • Sports and fitness

Bronxville received A+ grades in several categories: Academics, Teachers, Extracurriculars, Sports.

Rye was the top rated school system in Westchester County. It received grades of A+ in the Academics, Health, Teachers, Resources and Sports categories. 

The top rated district in the state was Jericho Union Free School District in Long Island.
