Net proceeds of $450,000 from the recent “The Next Chapter” fundraising gala, along with a June 2014 PTA pledge of $250,000 means the organization has raised $700,000 so far for the renovations.

PTA members plan to present the $450,000 benefit proceeds to members of the Bronxville Board of Education at a school board meeting in the near future.

"We couldn't be happier with the results,” PTA President Jill Pytosh and President-elect Lisa Rao, co-chairs of the benefit committee, said in a press release. “We are proud to be part of such an incredibly generous community that cares so deeply about our school. We can't say thank you enough to all involved for supporting this wonderful cause. The students of Bronxville will benefit for years to come from your generosity."
