BRONXVILLE, N.Y – The Bronxville Public School District has canceled school for Monday because of Hurricane Sandy's projected arrival.
The school has already taken several safety precautions in preparation for the storm. Items in the school have been moved to avoid damage from any flooding, and sandbags have been positioned inside and outside of the building.
The district asks residents to stay away from the school grounds, including the playground and parking lot. A decision regarding classes Tuesday will be announced late Monday afternoon.
Keep checking back with The Bronxville Daily Voice for updates on the storm track and preparations.
