30 Students Inducted To National Technical Honor Society

The Center for Career Services was a hive of activity recently as 30 of its students in various career and technical education programs got ready to be inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, a ceremony that recognized their academic excellence, character and attitude toward their vocational studies. 

Thirty students were recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society at the Center for Career Services.

To be eligible, the students had to maintain an 88 percent academic average or better in their CTE classes, have a 95 percent attendance rate and be involved in school and/or community service.

 “Being inducted in the National Technical Honor Society means that you have been acknowledged for your success and that you will meet every new challenge with confidence,” said Supervisor Audrey Mangan. “This is an exclusive group that welcomes only those who excel.” 

Membership in the NTHS requires students to be collaborative workers, critical thinkers, agile, have the ability to effectively communicate, and remain curious and imaginative, among other traits.
